Excellent accuracy is provided by the Henry® Golden Boy® Lever-Action Rimfire Rifle, which is ideal for plinking, small game hunting, and gun instruction. A brass bead front sight and a fully adjustable buckhorn-style rear sight enable accurate shot placement on small targets. A 20″ octagonal barrel provides weight out front to steady your aim. The American walnut stock and foreend of the Golden Boy are appealing, while the brass receiver, buttplate, and barrel band further highlight the gun’s appearance. Brasslite is the receiver.

The magazine tube, lever, and barrel are all blued. Since ammo is put straight into the tubular magazine from the top, the receiver lacks a loading port on the side. In order to prevent hammer contact with the firing pin unless the trigger is pressed, Henry uses an internal transfer bar safety. Neither dropping the rifle onto the hammer nor the shooter’s thumb slipping from the hammer during cocking will cause the gun to discharge unintentionally.
